The invention relates to a lamp with single-sided socket, in particular, a high-pressure lamp with a vacuum-tight sealed inner vessel, enclosed by a cladding piece, whereby a socket with electrical connectors, supporting the inner vessel and the cladding piece, is characterised in that: a) the socket comprises a socket plinth, made from an insulating material with a central opening surrounded by collars in which the inner vessel is fitted without bonding, b) the socket plinth comprises a circular radially-projecting segment with upper and lower plateaux for the socket, c) the cladding piece has a circular opening to the socket side thereof with a radially-projecting edge with an upper and lower contact surface relative to the socket, whereby the lower contact surface of the edge matches the upper plateau of the circular radially-projecting segment of the socket plinth and d) the cladding piece is fixed to the socket by a cement free mechanical fixing mechanism.

L'invention concerne une lampe électrique à culot unilatéral, en particulier une lampe à haute pression, laquelle lampe comporte une ampoule interne scellée de façon étanche au vide et entourée d'une partie enveloppe, un culot à plots de contact électrique supportant, d'un côté, l'ampoule interne et, de l'autre, la partie enveloppe. Ladite lampe électrique présente les caractéristiques suivantes : a) le culot présente une base constituée d'un matériau isolant et pourvue d'une ouverture centrale à rebord périphérique, dans laquelle l'ampoule interne est reçue sans mastic ; b) la base du culot possède un segment circulaire saillant radialement, pourvu d'un plateau supérieur et inférieur associé par rapport au culot ; c) la partie enveloppe possède, côté culot, une ouverture circulaire pourvue d'un rebord saillant radialement qui présente une surface de contact inférieure et supérieure par rapport au culot, la surface de contact inférieure du rebord étant adaptée au plateau supérieur du segment circulaire, saillant radialement, sur la base du culot, et d) la partie enveloppe est fixée au culot par le biais d'un mécanisme de retenue mécanique sans mastic.
