The invention concerns lead-coated complex porous structures, and the specific method used for making them electrically conductive and adapted to receive a lead electroplating. The conductive activation results from a first conductive polymer deposition, set on the entire developed surface of the structure, through its entire thickness, followed by a second deposition, on the same developed surface, consisting of a conductive lacquer. The structures are made of crosslinked foam, felt or woven fabric. The inventive structures, coated with lead or lead alloy, are particularly designed for uses as load-collecting support for electrodes of PbPbO¿2? accumulators, sound insulation, and the like.

L'invention concerne des structures poreuses complexes revêtues de plomb, et le procédé spécifique utilisé pour les rendre électriquement conductrices et aptes à recevoir un dépôt électrolytique de plomb. L'activation conductrice est obtenue par un premier dépôt d'un polymère conducteur, mis en place sur l'ensemble de la surface développée de la structure, à travers l'ensemble de son épaisseur, suivi d'un second dépôt, sur la même surface développée, d'une mince couche protectrice du polymère conducteur, constituée par une laque conductrice. Les structures sont de types mousse réticulée, feutre ou tissé. Les structures selon l'invention, revêtues de plomb ou alliage de plomb, sont particulièrement destinées aux utilisations à titre de support-collecteur de charges pour électrodes d'accumulateurs PbPbO2, d'isolants phoniques, ou autres.
