A light emitting diode baffle is provided for use with light emitting diodes. The baffle has a lower reflective surface extending from an inner end adapted to be positioned adjacent the light emitting diode and terminating at an outer end. The baffle has an upper reflective surface extending from an inner end spaced from the inner end of the lower reflective surface and terminating at an outer end. The outer end of the lower reflective surface is adapted to be positioned at an angle of from about between 75 degrees to 60 degrees from a vertical line passing through the light emitting diode and a line passing through the light emitting diode and through the outer end of the lower reflective surface. The upper reflective surface is configured to reflect light directed towards that surface outwardly and also upwardly to the lower reflective surface of a second baffle that is positioned above the baffle.
