A beaded light dispersing film has a substrate layer, and an optically transparent layer, having a predetermined thickness, disposed over a side of the substrate layer. Optically transmitting beads (156, 158, 160) are arranged to penetrate at least partially into the transparent layer (153) to define clear apertures at interfaces between the beads and the transparent layer. The bead (156) radius is greater than the predetermined thickness. An absorbing layer (154) is disposed on the transparent layer, in interstices between the beads (156, 158, 160). A method of manufacturing the film includes disposing optically transparent beads partially in an optically transparent layer disposed over a transparent substrate layer. The optically transparent layer has a thickness less than half a diameter of a transparent bead. An absorbing layer overlies the optically transparent layer.
Ce film perlé de dispersion de la lumière présente une couche support ainsi qu'une couche optiquement transparente, d'épaisseur déterminée, disposée sur un côté de la couche support. Des microbilles (156, 158, 160) de transmission optique sont conçues pour pénétrer au moins partiellement dans la couche transparente (153) afin de déterminer des ouvertures claires au niveau d'interfaces entre les microbilles et la couche transparente. Le rayon des microbilles (156) est de dimension supérieure à l'épaisseur déterminée. On a déposé une couche absorbante (154) sur la couche transparente, dans les interstices entre les microbilles (156, 158, 160). L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de ce film, consistant à placer des microbilles optiquement transparentes, partiellement dans une couche optiquement transparente déposée sur une couche support transparente. La couche optiquement transparente présente une épaisseur inférieure à la moitié du diamètre d'une microbille transparente. Une couche absorbante recouvre la couche optiquement transparente.
