A fuel composition comprises (A) a major amount of a fatty carboxylic acid ester composition from at least one naturally occurring triglyceride and (B) a minor amount of a low temperature operability composition. A method for improving the low temperature operability of a fuel composition comprises admixing (A) with a low temperature improving amount of (B). The fuel composition is derived from a renewable resource and is especially useful in internal combustion engines such as compression-ignited diesel engines.

Une composition de carburant comprend (A) une grande quantité d'une composition à base d'esters d'acide carboxylique, faite à partir d'au moins un triglycéride naturel, et (B) une quantité réduite d'une composition utilisable à basse température. Le procédé pour améliorer la capacité de fonctionnement à basse température d'une composition de carburant consiste à mélanger (A) avec une quantité de (B) qui améliore le fonctionnement à basse température.
