A machine for producing a corrugated wheel spacer for use between tandem truck wheels includes a fixed corrugated bottom roller mounted on a table fixed in a skeletal frame, and a movable corrugated top roller suspended from a platen, which moves the top roller vertically towards and away from an annular spacer blank on the bottom roller. The rollers are driven in synchronism with the blank sandwiched therebetween to produce the corrugated wheel spacer. A pair of stabilizers rotatably mounted on the frame and connected to the platen stabilize the spacer blank making it possible to form corrugated spacers from blanks having different diameters.
Une machine pour la fabrication d'entretoises de jantes ondulées à poser entre les roues en tandem de camions comprend un rouleau inférieur ondulé monté sur une table fixée à un cadre squelette, et un rouleau supérieur ondulé mobile suspendu à un plateau qui déplace verticalement le rouleau supérieur en le rapprochant et en l'éloignant d'une ébauche annulaire d'entretoise fixée sur le rouleau inférieur.
