ABSTRACT A measuring value converter or connection arrangement which gives an output independent of load defined by ic ? iv, where ic denotes a constant current and iv denotes a current which is a variable quantity or a current which is proportional to the measured quantity (M). An adjustable constant current generator (CG) possessing high output resistance, is connected in parallel with a variable current generator (VG) possessiny high output resistance, or a converter not needing auxiliary power. One end of the parallel connection contalnlng the plus pole of the varlable current generator via a possible load resistance (R) is connected to the minus pole of the power source (PS), and the other end of the parallel connection containing the minus pole of the variable current generator via a possible load resistance (R) is connected to the plus pole of the power source (PS). A construction dependent diode (D) is connected across the output terminals of the power source (PS) or omitted, with the cathode of the diode connected to plus and the anode of the diode connected to minus, thus establishing a return path for iv while not draining the power source.
