A suction nozzle holster device (10) is provided with three possible operating positions through the use of a mounting channel component (18) having a left (60), a center (58) and a right (56) key plate/key nub (6O',58',56') system that can each be respectively inserted into a cooperating keyway slot (22A)/nub receiver (30) opening system mounted on a rear portion (22) of a holster mounting component (16) of the device (10). This arrangement gives the holster device (10) three distinct operating positions.
