The invention relates to a hot melt dis-pensable polymeric composite and process for making and using the composite. Particulates of adequate parti-cle size are mixed with a polymer that exhibits low vis-cosities at temperatures typically provided by hot-melt glue guns to form rods that vary significantly in density from the base polymer. Novel articles can be manufac-tured by dispensing the composite from a glue gun into molds or by placement of the melt molding compound into preformed cavities within an end article.

L'invention concerne un composite polymère distribuable par fusion à chaud et un procédé de préparation et d'utilisation du composite. Des particules de taille de particule adéquate sont mélangées avec un polymère qui présente de basses viscosités à des températures typiquement fournies par des pistolets à colle thermofusibles pour former des tiges qui varient significativement en termes de densité par rapport au polymère de base. Des articles novateurs peuvent être fabriqués en distribuant le composite à partir d'un pistolet à colle dans des moules par placement du composé de moulage en fusion dans des cavités préformées à l'intérieur d'un article final.
