A method and apparatus for quickly and efficiently adhering an object, such as a rear view mirror button, to a glass surface, such as a vehicle windshield. A partial vacuum is created about the object to draw out air bubbles trapped between the object and the glass surface, while heat and pressure are applied to secure the object to the surface.
