An apparatus (10) for analyzing the composition of bodily fluid. The apparatus comprises a fluid handling network including a patient end (11) configured to maintain fluid communication with a bodily fluid in a patient and at least one pump (203) intermittently operable to draw a sample of bodily fluid from the patient. The apparatus further comprises a fluid analyzer (140) positioned to analyze at least a portion of the sample and measure the presence of two or more analytes . Also disclosed is a method for analyzing the composition of a bodily fluid in a patient. The method comprises drawing a sample of the bodily fluid of the patient through a fluid handling network configured to maintain fluid communication with a bodily fluid in a patient. The method further comprises analyzing the at least a portion of the sample in a fluid analyzer to estimate the concentration of two or more analytes in the sample. Disclosed are further means for separating plasma and serum and a spectroscopic analyzer.
L'invention concerne un appareil conçu pour analyser la composition d'un liquide organique, qui comprend un réseau de gestion de liquide comportant une extrémité patient destinée à maintenir une communication fluidique avec un liquide organique chez le patient et au moins une pompe pouvant fonctionner de manière intermittente pour prélever chez le patient un échantillon de liquide organique. L'appareil comprend en outre un analyseur de liquide mis en place pour analyser au moins une partie de l'échantillon et mesurer la présence d'au moins deux analytes. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant d'analyser la composition d'un liquide organique chez un patient. Le procédé consiste à prélever un échantillon du liquide organique du patient par le biais du réseau de gestion de liquide destiné à maintenir une communication fluidique avec un liquide organique chez un patient. Le procédé consiste également à analyser les parties de l'échantillon dans un analyseur de liquide pour estimer la teneur d'au moins deux analytes dans l'échantillon.
