ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Method and apparatus for the production of fibers from attenuable materials, particularly molten glass, by the technique known as toration, i.e., the fiberizing tech- nique according to which the attenuable material is delivered into the zone of interaction established by the transverse penetration of a gaseous jet into a larger gaseous blast. According to the disclosed technique, a tertiary jet is also employed.
