Method and apparatus used in producing a feed product or premix and the products made by the method. A predetermined quantity of krill hydrolysate is added to a predetermined quantity of dry carrier with or without a predetermined quantity of liquid marine protein. The mixture is subject to evaporation and drying steps in which relatively heavier particles are separated from relatively lighter particles. The mixture may be blended, ground and subject to chemical reaction in a balance tank prior to entering a dryer. The dryer utilises a warm air source, a tower and a cyclone to dry the mixture following its entry into the dryer. Temperature sensitive enzymes or other bioactive products may be added to the product produced from the dryer. A method for obtaining enzymes from a fresh krill extract or an autolysed krill preparation and the product are also disclosed. A method for separating the bound protein and pigments from crustacean waste using krill enzymes and a product producted by the method are also described.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil utilisés dans la production d'un produit d'alimentation ou d'un prémélange d'alimentation ainsi que les produits ainsi obtenus. Une quantité prédéterminée d'un hydrolysat de krill est ajoutée à une quantité prédéterminée d'un excipient sec avec ou sans une quantité prédéterminée de protéine marine liquide. Le mélange est soumis à des étapes d'évaporation et de séchage dans lesquelles les particules relativement lourdes sont séparées des particules relativement légères. La préparation peut être mélangée, broyée et soumise à une réaction chimique dans une cuve d'équilibrage avant de pénétrer dans un appareil de séchage. L'appareil de séchage utilise une source d'air tiède, une tour et un cyclone afin de sécher la préparation après son entrée dans l'appareil de séchage. Des enzymes thermosensibles ou d'autres produits bioactifs peuvent être ajoutés aux produits produits par l'appareil de séchage. Un procédé d'obtention d'enzymes à partir d'un extrait de krill frais ou d'une préparation de krill autolysée et le produit sont également décrits. Un procédé de séparation des protéines et des pigments liés tirés de déchets de crustacées utilisant des enzymes de krill ainsi qu'un produit obtenu selon le procédé sont également décrits.
