There is provided a method and an apparatus for searching rights objects stored in a portable storage device by using an object location data. The method includes: accessing the portable storage device; transmitting an object identifier to the portable storage device; receiving a location data of a first object searched based on the object identifier from the portable storage device; storing the location data of the first object with the object identifier; and transmitting the location data of the first object and an operation data representing operations to be performed with the first object to the portable storage device by using the location data of the first object.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de chercher des objets liés aux droits numériques, stockés dans un dispositif de stockage portable, à l'aide de données d'emplacement d'objet. Ce procédé consiste : à accéder au dispositif de stockage portable ; à transmettre un identificateur d'objet au dispositif de stockage portable ; à recevoir des données d'emplacement pour un premier objet cherché, sur la base de l'identificateur d'objet fourni par le dispositif de stockage portable ; à stocker les données d'emplacement pour le premier objet avec l'identificateur d'objet ; et à transmettre les données d'emplacement pour le premier objet et des données de gestion indiquant les opérations à réaliser avec le premier objet au dispositif de stockage portable, à l'aide des données d'emplacement pour le premier objet.
