The invention provides a method and apparatus for the delivery of polynucleotide cancer vaccines to increase T cell response and reduce pain due to long electric waveform application and muscle contractions. The method includes the steps of: (a.) administering a polynucleotide cancer vaccine into the skin at an administration site, (b.) applying a needle electrode to the skin in the vicinity of the administration site, and (c.) applying a sequence of at least three electrical waveforms to deliver the polynucleotide cancer vaccine into skin cells by electroporation. The sequence has at least one of the following characteristics {1} at least two of the waveforms differ in amplitude, {2} at least two of the waveforms differ in width, and (3) a first waveform interval for a first set of two of the waveforms is different from a second waveform interval for a second set of two of the waveforms.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de transfert de vaccins anticancéreux à base de polynucléotides, augmentant la réponse des lymphocytes T et réduisant la douleur due à l'application des formes électriques prolongées et aux contractions musculaires. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à : (a) administrer un vaccin anticancéreux à base de polynucléotides dans la peau au niveau d'un site d'administration; (b) appliquer une électrode aiguille à la peau au voisinage du site d'administration; et (c) appliquer une suite d'au moins trois formes d'ondes électriques afin de transférer le vaccin anticancéreux à base de polynucléotides dans les cellules de la peau par électroporation. La suite de formes d'ondes présente au moins une des caractéristiques suivantes : (1) au moins deux des formes d'ondes diffèrent par leur amplitude, (2) au moins deux des formes d'ondes diffèrent par leur largeur et (3) un premier intervalle de formes d'ondes associé à un premier ensemble de deux des formes d'ondes est diffèrent d'un deuxième intervalle de formes d'ondes associé à un deuxième ensemble de deux des formes d'ondes.
