METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MOULDED MEAT OR MEAT-LIKE PRODUCTS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification discloses a method and apparatus for producing a moulded meat or meat-like product having a fluid treated surface, wherein the moulding is effected in a rigid mould cavity having a permeable wall through which is introduced the fluid for treating the surface of the product. In this way, the weight of the product can easily be controlled and the whole of the product can be provided with a coagulated skin.
