A system for training the visual attention capabilities of a subject presents a series of sets of tests to the subject on a conventional touch screen monitor. Each test includes a central target, a peripheral target, and distractor elements around the peripheral target (60). The display time for the displays, and the eccentricity of the peripheral target are held constant within each set of tests. When the subject reaches a desired level of success (66) in identifying the central target, and in locating the peripheral target, eccentricity of the peripheral target is increased for the next set of tests. Once eccentricity reaches a maximum value, display time is decreased, and eccentricity is decreased for the next set of tests.

L'invention concerne un système servant à exercer les capacités d'attention visuelle d'un sujet, et qui présente une série d'ensembles de tests au sujet sur un moniteur à écran tactile classique. Chaque test comporte une cible centrale, une cible périphérique, et des éléments de distraction situés autour de la cible (60) périphérique.
