The invention relates to a method and an arrangement of devices for processing mail items (10) in a postal transportation and mail distribution system. According to the invention, information (11) of a mail item (10) is read into a reading device (31) in a first mail distribution center (30), the information clearly identifying the mail item. By checking the recipient data in a database (4) it is verified whether a registered recipient has rerouting instructions of the mail to an electronic post office box system. If this is the case, the information clearly identifying the postal item (10) is assigned a destination and the mail item is transported to a second mail distribution center within the region of this post office box system (20). The recorded data is transmitted to a data processing unit (52) in the second mail distribution center (50). The mail item is sorted according to the destination, and information regarding the change of address of the mail item (20) is sent to a mobile device (60) of a deliverer.
L'invention concerne un procédé et ensemble de dispositifs pour traiter des envois postaux (10) dans un système de transport et de tri postal. L'invention prévoit que, dans un premier centre de tri postal (30), un dispositif de lecture (31) lit au moins des informations (11) d'un envoi postal (10) qui identifient de façon univoque l'envoi postal. A l'aide d'indications de destinataires, on vérifie dans une base de données (40) s'il existe pour un destinataire enregistré un ordre de réacheminement de l'envoi vers une installation électronique de boîtes postales. Si c'est le cas, on associe une indication de destination aux informations (11) identifiant l'envoi (10) de manière univoque, et l'envoi postal est transporté vers un deuxième centre de tri postal dans la région de cette installation de boîtes postales (20). Les données enregistrées sont transmises à une unité de traitement de données (52) dans le deuxième centre de tri postal (50). L'envoi est trié à l'aide de l'indication de destination, et des informations sur le changement de destination de l'envoi (20) sont transmises à un appareil mobile (60) d'un facteur.
