Method and control arrangement for terminating an accidental switch on of a deep fryer apparatus when it is not filled with oil, the apparatus comprises a vessel having closed bottom sides, and a horizontally formed electric heating element for direct contact with the oil within the vessel. At one or more points of the inner space of the vessel the temperature (1,2) is measured, by which the accidental switch on state of the apparatus is detected and terminated at the same time in such a way that a derivative (3) of the temperature (1,2) measured at the one or more determined points is defined. The heating power (4) is automatically cut off to terminate switched on state when the value of the derivative (3) exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur un dispositif de commande permettant d'éteindre un commutateur de sécurité sur une friteuse à l'état vide. L'appareil comprend un réceptacle constitué de fonds fermés, et un élément chauffant électrique ménagé horizontalement afin d'être en contact direct avec l'huile se trouvant dans le réceptacle. On mesure (1, 2) la température, au niveau d'au moins un ou plusieurs points de l'espace interne du réceptacle, grâce à laquelle le commutateur de sécurité détecte l'état de l'appareil et l'éteint simultanément de sorte qu'une dérivée (3) de la température (1,2) mesurée au niveau d'un ou plusieurs points déterminés soit définie. La chaleur de combustion (4) est automatiquement coupée afin d'éteindre le commutateur sur l'état détecté lorsque la valeur de la dérivée (3) dépasse une valeur seuil prédéterminée.
