In a device for controlling the output power of a power amplifier, an output control signal varies the gain of the power amplifier. A detector is provided for detecting the output power of the amplifier. A signal processing circuit receives the output of the detector and a control signal from the outside and controls the gain of the amplifier. A storage stores detection outputs and output control signals each corresponding to particular power to be output from the amplifier. The signal processing circuit reads, based on the outside control signal and the output of the detector, corresponding one of the output control signals out of the storage and controls the gain with the output control signal.
L'invention est un dispositif de commande de la puissance d'un amplificateur, dans lequel le signal de commande fait varier le gain de cet amplificateur. Ce dispositif utilise un détecteur qui sert à détecter la puissance de l'amplificateur. Un circuit de traitement de signaux reçoit le signal de sortie de ce détecteur ainsi qu'un signal de commande transmis de l'extérieur et commande le gain de l'amplificateur. Une mémoire conserve les signaux de sortie du détecteur et produit des signaux de commande correspondant chacun à une puissance particulière à produire par l'amplificateur. Selon le signal de commande transmis de l'extérieur et le signal de sortie du détecteur, le circuit de traitement de signaux choisit l'un des signaux de commande stocké dans la mémoire pour commander le gain de l'amplificateur.
