The invention relates to a method for franking mail, whereby a franking mark is generated in a franking unit, transmitted to an operating unit, connected to the franking unit and printed out in a printing unit. The method is characterised in that a user interface is provided at the operating unit by the franking unit, and the printing out of the franking mark, generated in the franking unit and transmitted to the operating unit, is controlled by the user interface, whereupon the franking mark is printed exactly once on each piece of mail. The invention further relates to a device suitable for carrying out said method.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour affranchir des envois postaux, selon lequel une marque d'affranchissement est constituée dans une unité d'affranchissement, transmise à une unité de commande reliée à cette unité d'affranchissement puis imprimée dans une unité d'impression. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce qu'une interface utilisateur est fournie à l'unité de commande par l'unité d'affranchissement et l'impression de la marque d'affranchissement, constituée dans l'unité d'affranchissement et transmise à l'unité de commande, est commandée par l'intermédiaire de l'interface utilisateur, cette marque d'affranchissement étant appliquée une seule fois sur un envoi postal. Cette invention concerne également un dispositif approprié pour la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé.
