The invention relates to a method of detecting and identifying an object (O) which is provided with identification means (Io) and wireless transmission means (Ao), said object being disposed close to one receiver module (Mi) from among a plurality of receiver modules (M1,..., Mi, ..., Mn). The inventive method comprises: (i) an electromagnetic coupling between the object's wireless transmission means (Ao) and a fixed antenna (Ai) which is associated with the aforementioned receiver module (Mi); and (ii) an electrical coupling between the fixed antenna (Ai) of the receiver module (Mi) and a secondary fixed antenna (3) which is common to all of the fixed antennas (A1, , Ai, ..., An) of the receiver module. Moreover, the common secondary fixed antenna (3) is electromagnetically coupled to a primary fixed antenna (2) which is connected to a read module (4) that is designed to read the identification data originating from the identification means (Io).
Procédé pour détecter et identifier un objet (O) pourvu de moyens d'identification (Io) et de moyens de transmission sans fil (Ao), cet objet étant présenté à proximité d'un module récepteur (Mi) parmi une pluralité de modules récepteurs (Ml,..., Mi, ..., Mn) , ce procédé comprenant un couplage électromagnétique entre les moyens de transmission sans fil (Ao) de l'objet (O) et une antenne fixe (Ai) associée audit module récepteur (Mi), et - un couplage électrique entre l'antenne fixe (Ai) du module récepteur (Mi) et une antenne fixe secondaire (3) commune à l'ensemble des antennes fixes (Al, Ai , ..., An) de module récepteur, cette antenne fixe secondaire commune (3) étant en couplage électromagnétique avec une antenne fixe primaire (2) reliée à un module lecteur (4) adapté pour lire des données d'identification issues de moyens d'identification (Io).
