This invention relates to a method and equipment to assist the flow of offshore oil production. At least three production lines (14, 15, 16) are used, which are interconnected close to offshore well-heads or manifolds (1) forming two U-shaped lengths (2 or 3) of pipe acting as circuits for passage of the hydrocarbon mixture procuced. A mechanical interface (12) is periodically inserted into one (14 or 15) of the U-shaped branches of pipe and, driven by high pressure gas, travels along the pipe length (2 or 3) to return to the gathering centre (20). In its passage it pushes along the volume of hydrocarbon mixture which has accumulated in the pipes (14/16 or 15/16).

L'invention concerne un procédé et un équipement pour favoriser l'écoulement du pétrole produit en mer. On utilise au moins trois conduites de production (14, 15 et 16), qui sont reliées à proximité des têtes de puits ou des collecteurs (1) formant deux canalisations en forme de U, (2 ou 3), servant de circuits pour le passage du mélange d'hydrocarbures produits. Une interface mécanique (12) est insérée périodiquement dans une des branches (14 ou 15) des canalisations en forme de U et, entraînée par un gaz haute pression, se déplace le long de cette canalisation (2 ou 3) pour retourner vers le centre de collecte (20). Sur son passage, elle pousse ainsi le volume de mélange d'hydrocarbures qui s'est accumulé dans les canalisations (14/16 ou 15/16).
