ABREGE DESCRIPTIF La présente invention concerne un procédé de raccordement de fibres optiques, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend les étapes consistant à i) réaliser un polissage contrôlé assez grossier de l'interface des fibres à connecter, ii) tremper l'extrémité des fibres dans une solution d'acide fluorhydrique concentrée, et iii) aligner puis relier les fibres avec emploi d'un adaptateur d'indice. L'invention concerne également un atténuateur optique variable et un système utilisant cet atténuateur pour mesurer l'influence du taux de réflexion sur une ligne optique.
