A method and system are disclosed for measuring data in a fluid transportation conduit, such as a well for the production of oil and/or gas. The system employs one or more miniature sensing devices (4) which comprise sensing equipment that is contained in a preferably spherical nut shell which has an outer width which is smaller than the internal width of the conduit. One or more sensing . devices are released sequentially in the conduit and are induced to move in longitudinal direction through the conduit to measure data at desired intervals of time, without requiring a complex infrastructure.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un système permettant d'effectuer des mesures dans un conduit de transport de fluide, par exemple un puits de production de pétrole et/ou de gaz. Ce système met en oeuvre un ou plusieurs dispositifs de détection miniatures (4), et notamment un équipement de détection qui est contenu dans une coque de préférence cylindrique qui possède une largeur externe inférieure à la largeur interne du conduit. On libère séquentiellement un ou plusieurs dispositifs de détection dans le conduit qui sont amenés à se déplacer dans la direction longitudinale à travers le conduit de façon à effectuer des mesures à intervalle de temps souhaité, sans recours à une infrastructure complexe.
