The present invention concerns a method of staining the internal limiting membrane, the vitreous and/or the lens capsule of the eye as well as dyes and me- dicaments suitable for this method. Such dyes, medicaments and methods are needed in ophthalmic surgery, in particular in macular and/or cataract surgery and/or vitrectomy. According to the inventive method, at least one of a fluorescent dye, Lightgreen SF, Copper-phtalocyanine- tetrasulfonic acid tetrasodium salt, E68, Bromophe- nolblue and Chicagoblue is administered to the eye .

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de maculer la membrane limitante interne, le corps vitré et/ou le corps lenticulaire de l'oeil ainsi que des colorants et des médicaments appropriés à ce procédé. Ces colorants, ces médicaments et ces procédés sont utiles en chirurgie ophtalmique, notamment en chirurgie de la macula et/ou de la cataracte et/ou pour une vitrectomie. Selon ce procédé, au moins un des composés suivants est administré à l'oeil: colorant fluorescent, vert acide J, sel de tétrasodium d'acide tétrasulfonique de phtalocyanine de cuivre, E68, bleu de bromophénol et de bleu Chicago.
