The invention relates to a method for application of a function or joint element (2, 2a) to an elastically deformable planar material (1) or workpiece, the function element (2, 2a) having a rivet section (8) on a contact surface (5.1), extending beyond said surface, wherein the application of the function element (2, 2a) to the planar material (1) is achieved in a jointing and riveting process by introduction of the section (8) into a joint opening (3) and by plastic deformation of the river section (8) in a rivet connection (8.1) engaging behind the joint opening, wherein, in a boundary region enclosing the joint opening (3), the planar material (1) is held under tension between the deformed rivet connection (8.1) and the contact surface (5.1) of the function element (2).
L'invention concerne un procédé pour fixer un élément fonctionnel ou d'assemblage sur un matériau plat ou une pièce déformables de manière élastique, ledit élément fonctionnel présentant, sur une surface d'appui, une partie à riveter faisant saillie hors de cette surface, la fixation de l'élément fonctionnel sur le matériau plat étant réalisée dans un processus de rivetage ou d'assemblage par introduction de la partie à riveter dans un orifice d'assemblage et par déformation élastique de la partie à riveter pour former une attache par l'arrière de l'orifice, de sorte que le matériau plat est serré dans une partie périphérique entourant l'orifice d'assemblage, entre l'attache aplatie et la surface d'appui de l'élément fonctionnel.
