Method for fast (real-time) storage and retrieval of digital code sequences, each representing one or more predetermined features of a musical note, a fraction of a musical note, or group of musical notes and a system that implements this method, with the aim to automatically control electronical musical devices and thereby to avoid or alleviate certain problems associated with the prior art. The described embodiments of the invention will increase rapidity and efficiency even more by pre-selecting on the basis of related data or by using statistical information.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de stocker et retrouver rapidement, en temps réel, des séquences de codes numériques. Chacune de ces séquences représente au moins une caractéristique se rapportant à une note de musique, à une fraction d'une note de musique, ou à un groupe de notes de musique. L'invention concerne également un système mettant en oeuvre ce procédé afin de commander automatiquement des appareils de musique électroniques, et ainsi d'éviter en tout ou partie les difficultés afférent à l'état antérieur de la technique. Les différentes réalisations de l'invention sont censées augmenter la rapidité et l'efficacité, soit par une pré-sélection faisant appel à des données présentant entre elles des relations, soit par l'utilisation d'informations statistiques.
