The inventive method consists in introducing a stirring gas through the vessel (1) bottom, in receiving a measurable mechanical vibration by at least one sensor fixed to the vessel or to the supporting frame thereof, in filtering the thus detected vibration signals by a high pass filter (13a) and preferably by a low pass filter (13b), in sampling and digitising (15) said vibration signals for exposing them to a second filtering which is digital and calibrated upon the vessel vibration responses, in sequencing said responses, in exposing each sequence to the calculation (17) of a temporal moving mean square, in extracting the total effective value RMS (for "Root Mean Square") of the measured vibration signal therefrom, wherein said effective value is used for controlling the stirring gas flowrate supplied to the vessel. Said invention can be used for the stirring stand of steel making shop ladles, converters, RH processes, electric arc furnaces, etc.
Un gaz de brassage étant introduit par le fond du récipient 1, la vibration mécanique, représentative du niveau vibratoire à mesurer, est recueillie par au moins un capteur fixé sur le récipient lui même ou sur son bâti-support, les signaux vibratoires ainsi captés étant filtrés "passe-haut" 13a, et de préférence "passe-bas" également 13b puis échantillonnés- numérisés 15 pour les soumettre alors à un second filtrage, numérique cette fois et calibré sur les réponses vibratoires propres audit récipient, et après séquençage des signaux numérisés, on soumet chaque séquence au calcul 17 d'une moyenne quadratique temporelle glissante dont on extrait alors une valeur efficace RMS globale (pour "Root Mean Square") du signal vibratoire ainsi mesuré, valeur efficace que l'on utilise pour régler le débit de gaz de brassage délivré vers le récipient. Application au stand de bullage des poches d'aciérie, convertisseurs, RH, fours à arc, etc...
