ABSTRACT Complete incineration of combustible radioactive waste in a combustor is regulated by controlling the flow rate of supplemental fuel fed to the combustor so that the outlet gas temperature of the combustor may be maintained at a predetermined temperature while increasing or decreasing the supply of waste to the combustor in direct response to an increase or decrease of the flow rate.
