ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for determining human prolyl hydroxylase by radio- immunoassay according to the sandwich method wherein a monoclonal antibody to human prolyl hydroxylase and polyclonal antibody to human prolyl hydroxylase are used, characterized in that a mono clonal antibody to human prolyl hydroxylase is used as at least one of the antibodies which are to be coated on a solid support and to be labeled with a radioactive element. This method is simple and operable with small amounts of samples and gives exact results. Thus, this method is useful for the diagnosis of hepatic diseases.
