The invention relates to a method for hardening powder coatings by coating substrates with said powder coatings and irradiating them with radiation in the near infrared range (NIR-radiation), and is characterised in that the hardening times and/or the surface temperatures of the powder-coating coated substrates that are attainable through irradiation during particular hardening times can be regulated by regulating the barium sulfate and/or aluminium oxide content of the powder coatings to 1 to 50 wt.-% and/or regulating the carbon black content of the powder coatings to 0.1 to 5 wt.-%, in relation to the total weight of the powder coating composition.
L'invention concerne le durcissement de laques en poudre par le revêtement de substrats avec ces laques en poudre et exposition à des rayonnements dans la plage proche infrarouge (rayons proches infrarouge). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que pour régler les temps de durcissement et/ou les températures de surface des substrats recouverts de laques en poudre, ces températures de surface pouvant être obtenues par exposition aux rayons pendant certains temps de durcissement, on règle la teneur de la laque en poudre en sulfate de barium et/ou en oxyde d'aluminium entre 1 et 50 % en poids et/ou la teneur de la laque en poudre en suie entre 0,1 et 5 % en poids. Les pourcentages de poids se rapportent respectivement à la composition totale de laque en poudre.
