The present invention relates to a method for preparing an optic material by depositing on a substrate at least two layers of inorganic polymeric material, each of these layers containing at least one metal oxide or metalloid oxide, the deposited layers being densified cross-linked by exposure to ultraviolet rays. The invention also concerns the optic material which may be prepared using this method. The optic materials which may be prepared using said method are in particular multilayer materials such as antireflective materials and reflective materials.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un matériau optique par dépôt sur un substrat d'au moins deux couches de matériau polymérique inorganique, chacune de ces couches étant à base d'au moins un oxyde de métal ou de métalloïde, les couches déposées étant densifiées réticulées par une insolation aux rayons ultraviolets. L'invention concerne également le matériau optique qui peut être préparé par ce procédé. Les matériaux optiques qui peuvent être préparés par un tel procédé sont en particulier des matériaux multicouches tels que des matériaux antireflets et des matériaux réfléchissants.
