The method for production of a whey protein hydrolyzate comprises the use of a whey protein product with a protein con- tent of at least 65 %, calculated as dry matter as a starting material and a combination of a non-pH-stat hydrolysis followed by an ultrafiltration/microfiltration. The method provides a well tasting and organoleptically acceptable product in high yield.
