ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention concerns improvements in the process of U.S. patent 3,870,625 for treating polluted lubricating oil. Previous to said treatment, the used lubricating oil is injected, prefer- ably at a plurality of levels, into at least one reservoir con- taining liquid propane, where it is left for a time necessary for its dissolution and for its primary separation from the insoluble impurities.
