The invention relates to a method for using a polymer-coated paper or board as a printing substrate, to the printed product thus obtained and to the use of the coating. The invention relates to repeated use of the printing substrate, so that the printing ink is removed with a solvent from the surface that has been printed once, and the printing substrate thus cleaned is used for reprint. In accordance with the invention, the printing surface is formed of polysiloxane, to which polyester or styrene acrylate-based toners attach so as to be irremovable by mechanical means, yet removable by washing with a suitable solvent, such as acetone, for instance. A polysiloxane-coated paper or board is suitable especially for electro-photographic print with a dry toner, which can be fixed to the printing surface by fusion.
Cette invention porte sur un procédé d'utilisation d'un papier ou carton recouvert de polymère comme substrat d'impression, sur le produit imprimé ainsi obtenu ainsi que sur l'utilisation de ce revêtement. Cette invention concerne également l'utilisation répétée de ce substrat d'impression, l'encre d'impression étant éliminée à l'aide d'un solvant de la surface qui a déjà été imprimée une fois, le substrat d'impression ainsi nettoyé pouvant alors être réutilisé pour l'impression. Selon la présente invention, la surface d'impression est constituée de polysiloxane auquel des toners à base de polyester ou de styrène acrylate adhèrent de façon qu'ils ne puissent pas être enlevés par des moyens mécaniques mais qu'ils puissent toutefois être enlevés par lavage à l'aide d'un solvant approprié, tel que l'acétone. Un papier ou carton recouvert de polysiloxane convient particulièrement à une impression électrophotographique réalisée avec un toner sec qui peut se fixer à la surface d'impression par fusion.
