A method for treating waste plastic material so as to make possible its utilisation, for example, as a binder component in road surfacing materials or as fuel. The waste plastic material is made at least partly fluid by mixing it with a solvent. The solvent consists mainly of animal and/or vegetable fats; waste fats produced in refining animal and/or vegetable fats or other products; synthetic fatty acids or fatty acid compositions; or mixtures of the above. The objet of the invention also includes a binder composition and fuel containing waste plastic material.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement des déchets de matière plastique destiné à permettre leur utilisation par exemple comme constituants de liants pour les revêtements routiers ou comme combustible. Les déchets de matière plastique sont fluidifiés au moins en partie en les mélangeant avec un solvant.
