Treatment with IGF7/IGFBP-3 complex increases renal tubular mass and potentiates and/or stimulates kidney function in subjects suffering from acute and chronic renal failure or insufficiency resulting from such disorders as glomerulonephritis, glomerulosclerosis, interstitial nephritis, acute tubular necroses dne to ischemia and drug-induced toxicity, diabetic and autoimmune nephropathies and renal dysfunction due to acute and chronic rejection episodes in post-transplantation patients.

Les traitements par administration du complexe IGF/IGFBP-3 font augmenter la masse tubulaire rénale et potentialisent et/ou stimulent la fonction rénale chez des patients atteints d'insuffisance rénale aiguë et d'insuffisance rénale chronique dues à des troubles tels que la glomérulonéphrite, la glomérulosclérose, la néphrite interstitielle, la nécrose tubulaire aiguë induite par ischémie et par toxicité médicamenteuse, les néphropathies diabétiques et auto-immunes, et les dysfonctionnements rénaux dus à des crises aiguës et chroniques de rejet chez des patients ayant subi des greffes.
