The invention provides patch-rubbers for repairing radial-ply and bias-ply tires. The patch-rubbers, while showing the same strength as known ones, are more flexible and do not affect the original mechanical features and performance of the repaired regions of tires. The patch-rubbers are also suitable for retreading operations on tires by use of both high pressure molding machines and autoclaves. The rubber- patches essentially consists of superposed plies embedding fiber cords in such a way that their medium axis diverge from the symmetry axis of the patch- rubbers; and superposed on the plies, a further ply of smaller area having rectilinear metallic cords forming a different angle with the symmetry axis.
