A lacrosse-type stick provided with a frame including a top portion and two side portions. A netting (50) is attached to the frame and a lip portion (60) is attached to one of the side portions. The purpose of this lip portion is to direct a lacrosse ball into the netting. A flat portion (62) is also attached to one of the side portions for the purpose of striking the ball when it is on the ground.
