A modular jack (100), comprising a jack frame (300) and terminal housing (200), for accepting one or more twisted pairs of conductors (420-432). Running through a base (210) of the terminal housing (200) are one or more wire management tunnels (240a, 240b). Each of the tunnels (240a, 240b) has a first opening located within a second end of the terminal housing (220), and a third opening located within a second end of the terminal housing (200), and a third opening located within a surface of the terminal housing (200) from which extends a plurality of turrets (220-228). A twisted pair of conductors (420-482) enters the wire management tunnel (240a, 240b) through either the first or second opening, and then travels through the wire management tunnel (240a, 240b) before exiting through said third opening. The twisted pair of conductors exiting the third opening then terminate within one or more slots defined by neighboring turrets (220-228).
La présente invention concerne une prise modulaire (100) comprenant un bloc (300) et un logement terminal (200), pouvant accepter une ou plusieurs paires torsadées de conducteurs (420-432). Cette prise comprend également un ou plusieurs passages (240a, 240b) traversant une base (210) du logement terminal (200). Chacun de ces passages (240a, 240b) comporte une première ouverture située à une première extrémité du logement terminal (200), une deuxième ouverture située à une deuxième extrémité du logement terminal (200) et une troisième ouverture située à une surface du logement terminal (200) d'où partent plusieurs plots (220-228). Une paire torsadée de conducteurs (420-482) entrent dans le passage (240a, 240b) par la première ou la deuxième ouverture, traversent le canal (240a, 240b), puis ressortent du canal par la troisième ouverture. La paire torsadée de conducteurs sortant du canal par la troisième ouverture arrive dans une ou plusieurs fentes formées par lesdits plots (220-228).
