Novel retinoid-related compounds that can substitute for retinoic acid as preventives or remedies for various diseases and compounds that are antagonistic to retinoids, i.e., heterocyclic compounds represented by the general formula (1-I): Z-(CR3=CR2)n-COOR1 or physiologically acceptable salts thereof, and compounds represented by general formula (2-I) or physiologically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds have a potent ability to combine with RARs and are efficacious in treating various diseases including various keratinization anomalies and rheumatoid arthritis.
Nouveaux composés relatifs aux rétinoïdes pouvant se substituer à l'acide rétinoïque en tant qu'agents préventifs ou remèdes pour différentes affections, et composés antagonistes des rétinoïdes tels que les composés hétérocycliques représentés par la formule générale (1-I): Z-(CR?3¿=CR?2¿)¿n?-COOR?1¿ ou des sels physiologiquement acceptables de ceux-ci, et les composés représentés par la formule générale (2-I) ou des sels physiologiquement acceptables de ceux-ci. Ces composés sont capables de se combiner efficacement avec les RAR et de traiter diverses affections dont les anomalies de kératinisation et la polyarthrite rhumatoïde.
