ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lead wire is doubly up-set to form two closely adja- cent enlarged portions near one end thereof. The end-most enlarged portion is butt attached to one of the metallized terminations on a monolithic ceramic body. A conformal free-flowed protective resin coating covers the body and just a portion of the adjacent enlarged portion which serves to stop wicking of the resin outwardly on the lead wire during application in liquid form. The adjacent enlarged portion also serves as a mounting stand-off in radially leaded capacitor structures.
