ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Screening apparatus, particularly vibratory screening apparatus, includes a screening surface formed of one or more plates of flexible non-metallic material having apertures therethrough, with a plurality of attachment bars projecting from the underface of the or each plate at intervals along the length thereof. Each attachment bar extends across the width of the plate, and the plate or plates are supported by a support structure which includes a plurality of spaced support bars provided at intervals along their length corresponding to the invervals of the attachment bars with apertures of a shape to receive the attachment bars of the plate or plates.
