A filament forming apparatus (5) has a bushing that includes structural components and non- structural components. The structural components which include at least a perforated bottom tip plate (14) are formed of a first material having a high creep strength and the ability to withstand corrosive effects of molten mineral materials. The non- structural components which include at least a screen (16) positioned above the sidewells (40) and the end walls (50) of the bushing are formed of at least a second material that is different from the first material.

L'invention concerne un appareil formant filament (5) comportant une douille qui comprend des composants structurels et des composants non structurels. Les composants structurels qui comprennent au moins une plaque d'embout inférieur perforée (14) et sont formés d'un premier matériau ayant une résistance au fluage élevée et la capacité de subir des effets corrosifs de matériaux minéraux fondus.
