The invention relates to a monoclonal antibody or derivative or fragment thereof that is derived from a parental monoclonal antibody, that recognizes the Lewis Y antigen, characterized in that the Fc region or region equivalent to the Fc region of said antibody or derivative or fragment thereof carries a bi-sected hybrid type N-glycosylation pattern and that said antibody shows at least 10 fold increased ADCC and at least 10 % reduced CDC activity.

L'invention concerne un anticorps monoclonal ou un dérivé ou un fragment de celui-ci, dérivé d'un anticorps monoclonal parental qui reconnaît l'antigène de Lewis Y et caractérisé en ce que la région Fc ou la région équivalente à la région Fc dudit anticorps ou dérivé ou fragment de celui-ci transporte un hybride bissecteur de type de N-glycosylation, et que cet anticorps manifeste un ADCC multiplié au moins par 10 ainsi qu'une activité CDC réduite d'au moins 10 %.
