Abstract of the Invention Treatment of the antiallergic agent 3,4-dihydro-5-methyl-6-(2- methylpropyl)-4-oxothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-2-carboxylic acid with N-methyl-D-glucamine having a salt with improved solubility. Solu- tions of this salt have pH values in a range acceptable for topical formulations, particularly nasal solutions. Additionally, solutions of the subject salt exhibit good stability which can be demonstrated by retention of potency. The salt is comprised of a 1:1 molecular ratio of the glucamine base to the acid.
