The invention centres on a new coating for metallic surfaces comprising (I) a gelling and hardening wash; (ii) an adhesive; and (iii) a thermoplastic polymer. The said adhesive contains a catalyst. The invention is also designed for metallic objects, particularly tubes, the surface of which is coated using the coating according to the invention and the coating application process according to the invention.

L'invention a pour objet un nouveau revêtement de surface métallique comprenant (i) un primaire gélifiable et durcissable; (ii) un adhésif; et (iii) un polymère thermoplastique; dans lequel ledit adhésif contient un catalyseur.
