A nonmetallic pump with a gear pump assembly having an adapter spool (93) mounted to an electric motor. The pump assembly is designed to reduce manufacturing costs and to provide access for many service and maintenance tasks to be performed without breaking any of the pipe connections. The pump assembly also includes a splined shaft system (85) and a lubricating fluid circulation system with spiral grooves (300, 301, 302) located inside a pair of bearings disposed on opposite sides of the gear flights. The assembly also includes a replaceable precision liner (67) that surrounds the gear flights to maintain a tight tolerance for optimal performance of the pump. Also, an O- ring (73) disposed inside the front cover of the assembly provides for operation of the pump over a wide temperature variation with relatively loose manufacturing tolerances.
L'invention concerne une pompe non métallique dotée d'un ensemble de pompe à engrenages comportant une bobine d'adaptateur (93) montée sur un moteur électrique. L'ensemble de pompe est conçu pour réduire les coûts de fabrication et pour fournir un accès à de nombreuses tâches de service et d'entretien à effectuer sans briser une quelconque connexion de tubulure. L'ensemble de pompe inclut également un système d'arbre à nervures et un système de circulation de fluide de lubrification comportant des rainures en spirale (300, 301, 302) situées à l'intérieur d'une paire de roulements disposés sur des côtés opposés des pas d'engrenages. L'ensemble inclut également une chemise de précision (67) remplaçable qui entoure les pas d'engrenages afin de maintenir une tolérance serrée en vue de performances optimales de la pompe. De même, un joint torique (73), placé à l'intérieur du couvercle avant de l'ensemble, permet un fonctionnement de la pompe sur une variation importante de température tout en présentant des tolérances de fabrication relativement lâches.
