A screw and the screwdriver which interlocks into its head assuring no slippage while turning the screw in or out of the material or object it is meant to secure. The screw having a cylindrical opening in the centre of its head which accepts the cylindrical projection on the screwdrivers blade. The screw also having an open cylindrical slot bisecting the heads centre and tapering inwards to the centre which accepts the rest of the screwdrivers blade which has a protruding cylindrical tip running the width of the blade. The female head of the screw allows the oppositely matching male head of the screwdriver to fit snugly and to be trapped under the tapered lip of the screws transversely positioned slot when tightening or loosening the screw.
Une vis et le tournevis qui s'emboîte dans sa tête permettent d'éviter le glissement pendant qu'on tourne le tournevis pour faire entrer ou sortir la vis du matériau ou de l'objet qu'elle doit assujettir. La vis a une ouverture cylindrique dans le centre de sa tête qui reçoit la saillie cylindrique que comporte la lame du tournevis. La vis a aussi une fente cylindrique ouverte qui divise la tête en deux parties égales et qui est inclinée à l'intérieur vers le centre qui reçoit le reste de la lame du tournevis qui a une pointe cylindrique en saillie faisant toute la largeur de la lame. La tête femelle de la vis permet à la tête mâle correspondante du tournevis de s'emboîter de façon serrée et d'être prise sous la lèvre biseautée de la fente transversale de la vis quand on serre ou qu'on desserre la vis.
